| The Government Department furthers the SLO Green Build mission by:
- Supporting and helping develop public policy which advocates sustainable architectural, social, and building practices;
- Advancing public policy for sustainable development in San Luis Obispo County; and
- Cultivating collaborative relationships with the local governments and allied Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
