Peer Review

This simple program supports local homeowners and building professionals in the design and implementation of their green projects by providing a third-party review of their project, educating participants in sustainable design and green building practices. The program is provided at no cost to area residents thanks to the generous support of the 7 local cities and county, and SLO Green Build members.

There are four steps to participating in the Peer Review Program:

  1. Review the SLO Green Build GUIDELINES for new home construction, home remodeling, or multi-family projects.
  2. Examine the CHECKLIST to determine how green your project is and discover how it can become even greener.
  3. Fill out the APPLICATION, sign the agreement, and complete the checklist to the best of your ability.
  4. CONTACT the peer review coordinator by e-mail at least two weeks before desired date to schedule your review: peer-review@www.slogreenbuild.org.
